Full Job Description

As a Content Writer, you’ll be responsible for developing client content strategies, creating engaging written content across various platforms, collaborating with other teams, editing and proofreading, conducting SEO research and optimisation, understanding client subject matter, and analysing web traffic.

You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks supported by other team members.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the development of our client content strategies, which are aligned with short-term and long-term marketing goals and objectives

• Responsible for producing and managing engaging written content across websites, email copy, press releases, blogs, thought leadership pieces and social media

• Collaborate with digital marketing and design teams to plan and develop content, style and layout

• Edit, proofread, and improve creative content and posts

• Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic

• Optimise website content for SEO

• Conducting research and interviews to understand client’s subject matter

• Undertaking content audits

• Ensure all-around consistency for clients (style, fonts, images, tone and brand voice)

• Use content management systems to analyse web traffic and user engagement metrics across our clients

Competencies and Attitude

• Ability to work effectively with others, but also under your own initiative

• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

• Detailed understanding of SEO, Email Marketing, keyword research, and website metrics

• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills

• Highly creative content writer

• Talented ideas generator

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Knowledge of HTML and web publishing

• Good understanding of social media and WordPress

• Ability to work within time constraints and multitask

Qualifications and Training

• Proven experience as a Digital Content Writer (minimum 2 years)

• Experience with producing content for B2B clients

• Educated to degree level with a relevant degree in English language, literature, or creative writing (desirable)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
