Katharine House Hospice
We have supported Katharine House for over three years with their door to door collections, so it was a natural progression to become a business buddy in 2023 and we continue to be to this day.
As a business we decided to set an annual target for 2024 to raise £6000 for this local charity which we achieved with the London Marathon, tandem sky dives, and bake sales. We continue to hold annual fundraisers for Katharine House Hospice ever since. Alongside these activities, our MD, Amanda, is a trustee of the charity, and we offer our PPC services to help them achieve their mission and extend their reach.
Stone Community Hub
Our team is a generous bunch. There’s nearly always a cake in the kitchen, or some of Peter’s Finnish ‘treats’.
That’s why we can always count on a good return when collecting donations for our local food bank. Whether it’s the Christmas Toy Drive , Easter Egg collection or the Harvest Festival, we support them throughout the calendar year.
Sustainability initiatives
At Extramile, we’re committed to creating a positive impact on the environment. As part of this commitment, we’ve launched a Sustainability Action Group. This group focuses on:
1. Sustainable Design Practices: Reducing environmental impact through eco-friendly design principles.
2. Eco-Friendly Websites: Developing energy-efficient websites to minimise our digital carbon footprint.
3. Cycle-to-Work Scheme: Encouraging greener commuting options for our team, promoting health and reducing emissions.
